Spooky Night at the Museum

Our extensive programme of family events are key to driving footfall to all of the museums during holiday times.  To ensure these events are a success volunteers play a key role in assisting with the visitor experience. 

We would like10 volunteers to  help us with this evening. We will need you on Wednesday, 31 October between 4pm and 7:30PM.

This is a family friendly event with plenty of surprises and good times to be had by our visitors

What's involved?

For this particular volunteer we would like you to assist with the family craft activities, giving information to visitors when they arrive about the activities on offer that day, encouraging visitors to support the museum through donations, answering visitor questions and general upkeep to ensure our visitors younger and older enjoy their time at the museum, checking guests off the guests lists (when events are ticketed), collecting customer feedback.

*Please note: we are happy to cover any volunteer transport costs involved with this role.

This is a great way to gain experience when looking for paid work or for helping to enhance the following skills: Good for the CV, good for building skills, good for just having a good time during a worthwhile task with like-minded people.
