On Tuesday 30 October the Great North Museum: Hancock are hosting an event called ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’ This will be an interactive day for children and young people to explore different career paths and jobs they could do when they are older. We have over 30 employers, trainers and educators from around the region coming to share their work and opportunities with our visitors.
This challenge is to get feedback from children and young people who have visited the museum and engaged with the event. You will use an iPad to get the feedback via a website called SurveyMonkey.
Standing by the exit of the museum with an iPad asking children and young people to complete a short survey about their visit from 11.30 – 15.30 (we can provide a seat and allocate a break if required).
Why get involved?
As a volunteer you will benefit by getting experience in public engagement through collating visitor evaluation via an iPad. TWAM will benefit by seeing if this event has changed children’s and young people’s perceptions on what they would like to do when they grow up.
*Please note: we are happy to cover any volunteer transport costs involved with this role.
