We are searching for a skilled, early career or student photographer to assist with creation of promotional material for Boxes of Delight, our museums artefact loan service. This role would also be suitible for someone interested in museum marketing.
The BoD team are producing a postcard for advertisement purposes, to be used in distribution amongst schools and other educational organisations.
A volunteer with experience in photography and an awareness of visual advertisement techniques is sought after to assist with this project.
The task requires photographing a variety of museum artefacts to a high standard.
The volunteer will have:
- Great technical camera skills.
- Creativity and an awareness of suitable photo composition.
-Experience in close photography of objects.
The role with require commitment of approximately two days and will take place at Discovery Museum in the centre of Newcastle.
